Classification Title: Application Analyst III. FLSA: Exempt. FTE: 1.00. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent and 5 years of professional experience. Position Summary: This position coordinates and leads resources from across UGA in support of testing and release management for the UGA Budget Management and Planning system, the UGA Financial Management System, and integrations between these systems and other administrative information systems, OneUSG Connect included. Responsibilities
Design and development of testing and release management plans and procedures to meet the needs of UGA and USG clients. Leadership and administrative responsibilities, including supervisory and team leadership responsibilities. Production support responsibilities, including communication with any Managed Services or EITS units needed. Project and workload management responsibilities, including managing personal workload and/or the workload of the team. Requirements
Experience with IT project management and/or release management processes. Familiarity with ERPs and IT application systems processes. General Finance and HR knowledge, as related to systems. Experience supervising and mentoring junior IT staff. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Physical Demands: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; continuous use of keyboard, mouse, and other input devices; frequent use of monitors/screens; Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in virtual meetings.
