Compassus
Position Summary
The Director of Value Based Care is responsible for modeling the Compassus values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Innovation and for promoting the Compassus philosophy, using the 6 Pillars of Success as the foundation. S/he is responsible for upholding the Code of Ethical Conduct and for promoting positive working relationships within the company, among all departments, and all external stakeholders. The Director of Value Based Care leads the development and management of innovative value-based care models within Compassus. S/he provides thought leadership for new value based care models and leads cross-functional teams to successfully develop and deploy new products. Additionally, the Director of Value Based Care is responsible for the growth of new value based care models, market-level implementation success, and ongoing management of the product model.
Position Specific Responsibilities
Leads value-based care services development activities and ongoing operational improvement, including thought leadership, workflows, communications, financial and operational modeling, and playbook creation. Identifies ongoing opportunities and drives cross-functional efforts for improved value-based outcomes across service lines Acts as a central point of contact for value-based care services and works with cross-functional teams to quickly resolve challenges Develops analyses, outcomes reporting, product roadmaps, and materials for a variety of audiences to support VBE strategy and goals Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to deliver services, develop innovative concepts, drive technology and data workstreams, and improve performance Stays up-to-date on all new competitive product launches and trends and issues comprehensive critiques of competitive products in the marketplace. Performs other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree required. MBA or other advanced degree preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare work experience with product management/development, growth, negotiations, and/or account management required.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage. Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, team members, investors, and external parties. Strong written and verbal communications. Other Skills and Abilities:
Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English. Articulates and embraces integrated healthcare at home philosophy.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
The demands of this role necessitate a team member to effectively perform essential functions. Adaptations can be made to accommodate team members with disabilities. Regular standing, walking, and manual dexterity are fundamental, along with the ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.
