Director of Global Partnerships will drive new business development on behalf of Orlando City SC (MLS), Orlando Pride (NWSL), and Inter&Co Stadium. This role collaborates with the Vice President of Global Partnerships at OVG and the Senior Director of Brand Alliances at Orlando City SC/Orlando Pride/Inter&Co Stadium to build sponsorship strategy and cultivate c-level relationships to drive value and profitability. Responsibilities
Act as a key stakeholder in the OVG Global Partnerships & Orlando City SC/Orlando Pride/Inter&Co Stadium commercial sales process. Collaborate with the Vice President of Global Partnerships at OVG and the Senior Director of Brand Alliances to develop a strategic plan to drive revenue. Prospect, develop and sell new integrated business partnerships to meet individual sales goals. Maintain knowledge of all OVG GP Clients and properties; work to align and execute Global Partnerships team sales goals. Identify and create partnership assets for designated OVG properties; develop innovative platforms to drive incremental revenue; assist in creating sales materials. Create and maintain reporting documents; develop and track new revenue pipeline to present to senior leadership on a weekly/monthly basis. Monitor market developments in the entertainment/sporting industry. Attend networking and promotional events to develop and maintain client and partner relationships. Build relationships and operate effectively in a fast-paced sales environment. Minimum 25% travel expected. Performs other duties as required. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred. 5-7 years of professional sponsorship experience in a high-performance sales environment; experience in sports, entertainment and/or arena industry preferred. Self-motivated with ability to multi-task; dynamic, analytical, and well organized. Strong strategic thinking and planning skills; proven selling skills with pitch and positioning experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus. Familiarity with Salesforce and Kore. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish credibility internally and externally. Strong negotiation and problem-solving capabilities; comfortable with complex negotiations and business situations. Effective verbal, non-verbal, and written communication; strong active listening. Capable of producing results in a bottom-line oriented environment with sensitivity to people and values. Professional appearance and teamwork; experience developing and executing dynamic platforms. Familiarity with demographic research/analytics tools (e.g., Scarborough, Repucom, Zoominfo, SponsorUnited, YouGov) and deriving insights from data. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with high interpersonal skills. Compensation and Benefits
This role pays an annual salary of $85,000-$100,000 and is bonus eligible. Benefits include Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching, and Paid Time Off (vacation, sick days, holidays). Additional Information
