Overview

The Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology at Nassau BOCES is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the Center for Online Learning (COL). This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective planning, management, and delivery of online learning opportunities for educators and students across Nassau County. Responsibilities

Coordinating the development, scheduling, and implementation of online courses and professional learning opportunities Assisting with the design and maintenance of online learning systems, platforms, and resources Supporting the delivery of professional development by modeling effective online instructional practices and digital tool integration Maintaining departmental documentation and internal workflows using Microsoft 365 tools Assisting with internal and external communication, ensuring timely and accurate responses to school districts and vendors Collaborating with team members to streamline processes, improve service delivery, and enhance the overall effectiveness of COL initiatives Preparing reports, tracking participation data, and supporting fiscal documentation under the guidance of Supervisor II of the COL Communicating with school district administrators, teachers, and staff to support instructional technology integration and special projects Requirements

New York State Education Department Certification: School District Leader (SDL) or School District Administrator (SDA) Three or more years of teaching and/or administrative experience Experience with technology, technical infrastructure, multi-media, and professional development Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Salary
