This information is also available on the NKU Police Department's website at http://nku.edu/police/securityreports Position Information: The College of Informatics at Northern Kentucky University is seeking a Manager of Communication, Events, and Administration. The purpose of this position is to manage communications, marketing strategy, outreach coordination, and planning/managing external events for the College of Informatics. The role supports the College’s visibility, student recruitment, and community partnerships, and reports to the Director of Informatics Outreach. Primary Responsibilities
Work with the Dean, Director of Informatics Outreach, and the college leadership team to ensure the communications and marketing of the College are consistent, strategic, and aligned with broader outreach goals. Manage and update content on the website, execute college social media, and craft and disseminate other communication channels consistently, ensuring alignment with college and university messaging. Craft the design and production of printed and digital materials for external stakeholders, donors, partners, recruitment activities, and any events as needed. Coordinate outreach event logistics in collaboration with the Director of Informatics Outreach. Collaborate with the Schools, Centers, and the Director of Informatics Outreach to develop stories and content that highlight informatics outreach initiatives, experiential learning, student success, and community partnerships. Support development and implementation of outreach-focused communication campaigns that promote faculty, student, and college engagement with industry, education, and nonprofit partners. Maintain and communicate the college calendar of events, ensuring reliable internal communications and collaboration across the College and other university units. Assist with tracking, documentation, and reporting of outreach and event outcomes to support assessment and strategic planning in collaboration with the Director of Informatics Outreach. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree – No particular major of study is required. Preference will be given to someone with experience managing events and messaging, as well as social media experience. How to Apply
