Responsibilities

Coordinating with the drive test teams to ensure drive tests are performed as per the plan and on time.

Ensuring all CIQ data, Port Matrix Data, and other information needed to prepare SCFs are available on time.

Following the swap schedule on a daily basis.

Coordinating with teams, Project Management, and the customer.

Presenting daily and weekly swap updates to the customer in Daily/Weekly meetings.

Maintaining and updating trackers for swapped sites and the services delivered.

Triggering activities (SSV, SSS) at the right time after the swap is completed to ensure smooth running of the project.

Investigating KPIs Quality of Service-related issues at Cell/Band/Site/Cluster level.

Logging into sites to check alarms and operations-related issues and conveying them to relevant teams.

Evaluating the SSV/SSS/SSP reports before submitting them to the customer.

Coordinating with GDC teams to ensure error-free reports are sent to the customer for acceptance.

Performing LTE/5G Parameter Audit and correlating changes with KPI behavioral changes.

5G optimization experience covering Sub6 optimization; DSS optimization; mmWave optimization; VONR, NSA, SA.

Experience with multi-layer cluster optimization including 5G/LTE/UMTS.

Performing RF performance activities in customer projects independently, according to project plan and guidance from the project manager.

Analyzing KPIs, investigating, and improving network quality problems.

Implementing new features and tuning 5G/4G (LTE) radio network parameters.

Experience with network performance management functions including trending, analysis, monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting.

Prior experience with 5G/LTE parameters, KPI counters, Operational Performance Indicator (OPI) counters, and associated call scenarios. Ability to review daily KPI reports and identify sites with performance degradation.

Deep experience in network performance components and troubleshooting, including problem detection and solution methods for throughput issues, drop calls, and access/RACh failures. Knowledge of tools such as NetAct OSS, Web Element Manager, CM Editor, and related reporting and deep-dive counter-based analysis.

Understanding of Radio Resource Management functionalities, e.g., handover control, admission controls, and capacity management.

Knowledge of running traces for troubleshooting/analysis. Familiarity with drive testing equipment such as JDSU/RAN Advisor, Nemo, TEMS, X-CAL, Windcatcher, and FalconSmart.

Experience with NetAct in alarm management, performance suite management, and parameter configuration.

Experience and Skills

5G/LTE optimization experience, including Sub6 optimization; DSS optimization; mmWave optimization; VONR, NSA, SA.

Experience with multi-layer cluster optimization including 5G/LTE/UMTS.

Strong ability to perform RF performance activities, troubleshoot, and analyze KPI-related data.

Proficiency with RF optimization tools and trace/run reports as part of drive tests and network optimization tasks.

Understanding of core network interfaces and RRM functionalities.

Education

MS in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or related field; Bachelors with 10+ years of experience also acceptable.

Strong teamwork, discipline to follow process, good communication and documentation skills.

Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel (formulas, macros) and PowerPoint.

Pay Range $35-$45/hr W2
