Audit Manager – Public Accounting (CPA Required) Salary: $120,000 to $150,000 + Bonus & Benefits Work hybrid Multiple office locations in the Greater Chicago Area We are partnering with a highly regarded CPA firm that is looking to bring on an Audit Manager to their growing practice. This is a great opportunity for a driven professional who enjoys building client relationships, leading teams, and delivering high quality audit services. What You’ll Do
Lead audit engagements for a diverse client base across multiple industries Manage and develop staff, providing coaching and performance feedback Serve as the primary contact for clients, building strong and trusted relationships Review workpapers, financial statements, and reports for accuracy and compliance Partner with leadership on engagement planning, budgeting, and resource management Ensure audits are completed on time, within scope, and with excellent client service What We’re Looking For
Active CPA license (required) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field 4+ years of progressive audit experience in public accounting Prior supervisory or managerial experience strongly preferred Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and auditing standards Excellent communication and leadership skills Why This Firm
