We need an analyst like you to help our Navy clients solve complex problems and improve program performance. Responsibilities
Evaluate data and develop analytical approaches to support cost estimation, financial modeling, and program assessment for Navy acquisitions Help shape data‑driven strategies using methods such as statistical analysis, cost‑benefit analysis, lifecycle cost estimation, and what‑if scenario modeling to deliver actionable insights Collaborate with cross‑functional teams of technical experts, acquisition professionals, and industry experts to analyze and interpret programmatic and cost data Develop cohesive presentations to communicate findings, and participate in program meetings to inform acquisition and budgeting decisions Apply modeling and measurement techniques to evaluate system affordability, readiness, and risk You Have
5+ years of experience performing detailed cost estimation, analysis, or forecasting Experience developing and evaluating metrics and data trends over a defense acquisition program lifecycle Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and Schedule Analysis Experience collecting and analyzing cost and technical data to develop functional cost models Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Ability to work full time in a classified environment TS/SCI clearance Bachelor’s in Economics, Business, or a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field Nice If You Have
Experience supporting Navy Acquisition Program Offices Experience in risk and uncertainty analysis Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplemental (DFAR) Possession of excellent communication and presentation skills Master’s degree in Research, Systems Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Analytics, Data Science, or Business Defense Acquisition University Business - Cost Estimating or PMP Certification Certified Cost Estimator Analyst (CCEA®) or Professional Cost Estimator Analyst (PCEA®) Certification Clearance

The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package.
