Overview
Astrion is currently looking for experienced Network/Cyber Engineer in support of the Space Systems Integration Office (SSIO) in El Segundo, CA. This program focuses on providing integration assessments and analysis across multiple mission areas under Space Systems Command (SSC) portfolio. Responsibilities
Works directly with the government supporting technical exchange meetings and briefings among multiple stakeholders; approximately 60% of work in network engineering and 40% in cyber security functions. Develops, completes and delivers annual reviews and updates; certifies/reaccredits all classified and unclassified network systems, stand-alone systems and mission systems. Monitors and maintains the Vulnerability Management System by entering all closed Technical Compliance Network Orders into the DISA database and closing out SCAP and ACAS scan findings. Performs network engineering tasks that require configuring/setting up routers and switches and applying patching. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline. 8570 IAT Level 2 certification to meet DoD 8140 baseline. 5+ years experience within Network & Cyber Engineering. Active Top Secret clearance; eligibility for DoD clearance; US citizenship. Additional Skills & Experience: Hands-on experience with installation/configuration of networks (LAN, WAN); routers/switches/firewalls; server installation and hardening; Windows environment (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs); experience with Network Encryptors including General Dynamics KG-175F.
