| Palo Alto, CA (Hybrid, 3 days onsite) About the Role
Our client is transforming healthcare through Generative AI. Their mission is to build the foundational infrastructure for safe AI governance, healthcare-specific agent creation, and real-time algorithm monitoring—partnering with leading health systems to drive real, measurable change. They’re seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join the early engineering team and help shape a next-generation AI platform for healthcare. This role offers the opportunity to design, build, and scale critical systems that power real-world AI applications improving patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain core platform services within a scalable architecture. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in alignment with engineering best practices. Contribute to infrastructure automation, monitoring, and alerting strategies. Collaborate cross-functionally to define technical requirements and timelines. Participate in code reviews and documentation efforts to ensure quality and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications
6+ years of relevant industry experience. Production experience at scale with generative AI applications or platforms. Proficiency in Python; familiarity with TypeScript or Java, and exposure to Go or Rust. Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs. Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and modern DevOps practices. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to work onsite in Palo Alto three days per week. Preferred Experience
Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.). Knowledge of front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js). Previous experience in healthcare technology or regulated industries. Why Join
