Rainier School, Residential Habilitation Center (RHC), is seeking a Psychologist to join a highly respected team committed to helping clients with developmental disabilities have the supports they need to live healthy, safe, and inclusive lives. In this job, you will be our subject matter expert in psychological services, providing clinical consultation and monitoring performance standards to ensure quality care. You\'ll also provide clinical oversight to our Psychology Associate staff who support psychological, behavioral, and mental health services to intellectually disabled residents with significant challenges and specialized service needs. Opportunities performed on site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary. Pierce County employees are eligible to receive an Orca Card for transportation needs. Rainier School is a Washington Health Corps pre-approved site, which could provide you with loan repayment assistance. Some of what you\'ll do: Serve as the psychological consultant to the Interdisciplinary team Develop positive behavioral support plans Conduct psychological evaluations and comprehensive functional assessments Maintain oversight of all positive behavioral support plans and recommend changes as necessary Provide diagnostic assessments to clarify treatment needs Provide consultation and training to professional and direct care staff Ensure that all documentation is completed in a timely manner Provide clinical supervision to master\'s level Psychology Associates Participate in clinical staff meetings We\'re looking for professionals who have: Ability to provide clinical leadership and direction to clinical staff and interdisciplinary team Experience providing treatment to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health and/or co-occurring disorders Ability to plan and develop effective behavioral intervention strategies Knowledge of diagnostic concepts for developmental disabilities and current treatment and intervention modalities Techniques for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of individual treatment plans Ability to work in a stressful environment Who should apply?
Licensed Psychologist in good standing, Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an American Psychological Association accredited university psychology department or professional school of psychology with three years of post-doctoral experience, including one year of experience supervising other professional psychologists.
