About The Position We are searching for a Senior Project Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 10+ years of experience in project management, ideally with capital projects in an AEC environment. This position will involve planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring, and administering projects to ensure successful completion within budget, on time, and in accordance with company quality standards. The successful candidate will assist the Program Manager with financial reporting, sales, and client relationship management, and will mentor and advise Project Managers to develop their skills. We are looking for an individual who is a strategic thinker, thrives in a leadership role, and is motivated to foster business growth and team success.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, coordinate, monitor, and administer projects to ensure successful completion within budget and on time.

Assist the Program Manager with financial reporting, sales, and client relationship management.

Mentor and advise Project Managers to develop their skills.

Lead with a strategic mindset to foster business growth and team success.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and work closely with clients to meet expectations for design completeness and quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university.

10+ years of related experience in project management, or 10 years of relevant post-secondary education and experience.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members.

Ability to work closely with clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations.

Experience with financial reporting, setting revenue and profit goals, and coordinating budgets.

Experience utilizing scheduling tools.

Knowledge of developing and implementing client expectations for design completeness and quality.

Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD/Microstation, MS Project, and other industry software.

Strong communication skills for presenting proposals, reports, and presentations.

Experience in business development, including client relationship building and identifying new opportunities for growth.

Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Willingness to travel to job sites, meetings, and off-site events as required, roughly 25% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

PE License or PMP is preferred.
