$22.54 - $33.81 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience Summary: Join our dedicated team as an Urgent Care Healthcare Technician, where you will provide vital emergent and urgent care to patients under the guidance of a physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, and/or registered nurse. Responsibilities: Efficiently manage patient flow within the department to enhance throughput and keep patients informed of any delays. Monitor patient conditions closely and promptly notify medical providers if any patient shows signs of distress. Prepare patients for examination and assist during and after the examination. Perform medical procedures such as inserting Foley catheters, complex splinting, and venipuncture for blood drawing or saline lock insertion. Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination and treatment rooms, following established cleaning protocols and ensuring sufficient supply levels, ordering supplies as needed. Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with proof required before start date. BLS or CPR certification must remain valid for at least sixty days post-hire. IV proficiency according to department guidelines to be completed within 6 months of hire. Certification as CMA; RMA; State licensure as EMT, EMT-I, or Paramedic; completion of military medic course (no renewal necessary); or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
