Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced
Data Analyst III
to support the
ServiceNow Configuration and Asset Management
program, a key initiative enabling enterprise data integrity and transition readiness. The successful candidate will work closely with global stakeholders to extract, model, and validate complex data sets, ensuring accuracy and completeness within the
ServiceNow CMDB .
This role requires a blend of technical data skills, analytical thinking, and strong communication - ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to
collect, analyze, and validate data
required for ServiceNow CMDB population. Extract, transform, and map data
from multiple sources (systems, spreadsheets, and databases) into standardized templates. Develop new data templates as required and ensure consistency with existing model structures. Validate data accuracy
by cross-referencing multiple systems and performing quality checks against existing CMDB data. Conduct
independent research
to verify and enhance equipment model and configuration data. Support
data mapping between CMDB elements
and related ServiceNow organizational structures. Work with the
Service Management team
to ensure smooth data uploads and accessibility for ITSM processes. Provide
ad-hoc data analysis
support to related workstreams as needed. Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance data quality, completeness, and usability. Must Haves (Required Qualifications):
Experience as a
data analyst
focused on IT systems, asset management, or configuration management. Strong
data modeling and analytical skills
- deep understanding of data relationships within software systems. Experience
extracting, transforming, and updating large datasets
efficiently and accurately. Experience with
ServiceNow CMDB ,
APM , or other asset management databases. Excellent
stakeholder management
and communication skills. Strong
problem-solving and analytical thinking ; ability to reframe challenges and drive data-driven solutions. Delivery-focused, with a track record of executing complex data updates under tight deadlines. Nice to Haves (Preferred Skills):
ServiceNow Certified Business Analyst
credential or equivalent experience. Understanding of
ITIL and ITSM processes . Experience with
CSDM (Common Service Data Model)
within ServiceNow. Familiarity with
broadcast, media, or technology infrastructure environments. Experience managing
technical asset audits
and reconciliations.
