Duties Breakdown:


35% - Stakeholder Relations Duties

35% - Product Management/Product Backlog

10% - Review/Testing in writing and approving Acceptance Criteria

10% - Agile Project Management


We are looking for an experienced Product Owner Contractor to join our team in Tampa, Florida, for a long-term contract position. In this role, you will act as a vital link between stakeholders, clients, and the product development team, ensuring alignment with business strategies while delivering value-driven solutions. The position leverages Agile methodologies to effectively prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring the successful execution of projects.


Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine the product vision, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Create detailed user stories and maintain a well-prioritized product backlog to guide the development team.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure smooth project progression.

• Perform backlog grooming and release planning to optimize team productivity and project outcomes.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and deliver innovative IT solutions.

• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure the product meets quality standards before release.

• Utilize tools such as Atlassian Jira for bug tracking and project management.

• Oversee infrastructure and cloud technology projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals.

• Address and resolve issues related to product development, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.

• Proven experience in product management, with a focus on Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Strong expertise in backlog grooming and user story creation.
• Proficiency in tools like Atlassian Jira for tracking bugs and managing projects.
• Familiarity with infrastructure and cloud technologies.
• Solid understanding of user acceptance testing (UAT) processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver solutions that align with business needs and strategies.
