Stay current on BESS technologies, codes, and trends.

Lead R&D initiatives on integrating BESS with MVDC distribution.

Provide construction administration support (RFIs, submittals, site inspections).

Track scope, schedule, and budget across stakeholders.

Prepare cost estimates and schedules; perform QA/QC reviews and mentor junior engineers.

Contribute to internal design standards, templates, and best practices.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program.

Professional Engineer (PE) license in Nevada or eligible via reciprocity (must obtain NV and SC PE within 2 months).

5+ years of experience in solar, energy storage, or microgrids; 3+ years in BESS design/deployment.

Expertise in interconnection and regulatory compliance for BESS systems.

Advanced knowledge of NEC 705/706, IEEE 1547, UL 9540, NFPA 855.

Proficiency in:

Microgrid modeling (HOMER or similar)

Power system modeling (ETAP, SKM, or similar)

AutoCAD/Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office

Preferred familiarity with:

PSSE/PSLF, PSCAD/EMTC
