& a

Senior Air Quality Consultant

to join our Environmental team. HYBRID schedule. Locations: Air Quality Permitting Director: based out of any of our Mid-Continent Region offices. Air Quality Consultant: based in most of our Northeast regional office locations. Air Quality Permitting Director Responsibilities:

Working with an energetic and high-performing team, this position involves: Providing strategic direction for growing the environmental compliance area in the Gulf Coast market, focusing on sectors like petrochemicals, manufacturing, and technology. Identifying and supporting new business opportunities with current and prospective clients through leading technical proposals and engaging in the client experience. Developing tactical plans to expand the client base and deliver to a diversified client portfolio. Developing and managing a team of air quality engineers focused on project delivery. Collaborating with clients and colleagues to meet project deadlines. Managing multiple air quality projects, including permitting, dispersion modeling, emissions reporting, regulatory compliance, and audits. Communicating complex regulatory issues to both technical and non-technical audiences. Supporting air quality compliance in industries such as chemical, petrochemical, refining, oil & gas, utility, and manufacturing. Supervising and mentoring staff in technical and interpersonal matters. What you will bring to the team:

B.S. in Environmental Engineering, Science, or related; M.S. preferred. Minimum 15+ years of air quality permitting and compliance experience; consulting experience preferred. Knowledge of air quality regulations and agency structures in Louisiana and surrounding states. Experience with permit applications, renewals, and revisions (Title V, NSR, NNSR, PSD, GHG, Permits by Rule, etc.). Effective communication skills with technical teams, clients, and regulators. Leadership skills to guide teams while managing budgets and deadlines. Significant experience in Louisiana and Texas is preferred. Senior Air Quality Consultant Responsibilities:

This role involves providing air quality consulting for a broad range of industrial clients across the Northeast and Southeast US, including projects for chemical, oil & gas, utility, high-tech, food, and manufacturing sectors. Managing and serving as a technical expert in air quality areas such as permitting, compliance, reporting, auditing, and dispersion modeling. Interfacing with clients, identifying new project opportunities, and preparing proposals. Overseeing project teams to complete permit applications and related tasks. Preparing technical documentation for air permits, including emission calculations and dispersion modeling analyses. Leading air quality compliance assessments and providing senior review of technical work. Managing project financials and staff execution. What you will bring to the team:

Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field. 10-15+ years of experience in air quality permitting, compliance, or modeling. Consulting experience preferred. Experience preparing technical documentation for various permit types. Understanding of PSD/NSR, air permitting requirements, and dispersion modeling. Benefits:
