- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques, including but not limited to pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, and oral surgery
- Prepare and maintain instruments and equipment in accordance with aseptic techniques
- Take and develop dental radiographs: including but not limited to, bitewings, periapicals, panoramic, and cephalometrics radiographs
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Support front office duties as needed, including answering phones and greeting patients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
- Previous experience in dental assisting is mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate (At least 2 years)
- Pediatric and oral surgery experience is preferred
- Familiarity with dental systems and software is advantageous: Open Dental
- Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health is beneficial
- Experience in managing responsibilities typical of a dental receptionist is a plus
- A strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols is essential
