R0052152Wolters Kluwer DXG U.S., Inc. seeks Product Software Engineer IV in Riverwoods, IL.**Job Description:*** Conduct Development Lead tasks such as mentoring and assisting team members with database troubleshooting;* Develop & support SQL software; conduct DBA related tasks (example: restoring backups);* Analyze query plans, tune & improve performance of existing queries, improve indexing; document specific recommendations;* Conduct code reviews of SQL code using Azure Pull Requests (Microsoft Azure Dev-Ops website);* Develop documentation around, and evangelize, standards & processes; and* Support & validate regular SQL build.**Education and Experience Requirements:**Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field plus 7 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupation.**Skill Set Requirements:**7 years of experience in the following skills:* TSQL querying, performance tuning, and indexing for performance & concurrency* Data analysis;* Microsoft SQL Server database troubleshooting and deadlock resolution; and* Database TSQL code reviews.Telecommuting permitted. 40 hours/week. $153,317 - $212,000 per year.*Applicants may be required to appear onsite at a Wolters Kluwer office as part of the recruitment process.***Compensation:**Target salary range CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $145,500 - $203,900**Wolters Kluwer reported 2023 annual revenues of €5.6 billion.
