About LOVB (League One Volleyball) League One Volleyball (LOVB) is reimagining women's sports. Launched in 2019, our company is a mission‑led sports performance, training and media enterprise that will change the game of volleyball in the USA and empower new generations of female athletes.
It is a groundbreaking time for volleyball in the US with our historic triple Olympic Gold medals in Women’s Indoor, Beach and Sitting Volleyball. Volleyball is already the #1 most played girls' youth sport. There are 38M current and former players today. Of major sports, it’s the only one that is women‑first (~90% of players are female). But the volleyball market has been almost entirely missed by traditional sports investors, brands, and media.
LOVB is capturing this opportunity by creating a strong club business, and from that built‑in audience and fandom, is creating the best Pro League in the world and a digital ecosystem that will connect all aspects of LOVB. This community‑up approach will drive participation and fandom, while enabling greater empowerment for girls and young women living this amazing sport. In this role, you will join a mission‑driven, roll‑up‑your‑sleeves team of innovators and builders who have come together to change the paradigm of professional volleyball and women’s sports.
Role Overview The Social & Marketing Motion Video Editor will be a key creative contributor, responsible for bringing energy, emotion, and brand personality to LOVB’s social and marketing content through motion design, animation, and advanced editing.
You’ll collaborate closely with the social, marketing, and brand teams to conceptualize and deliver motion graphics and video assets that captivate audiences, strengthen brand identity, and drive engagement across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design and animate motion graphics for social content, digital ads, brand campaigns, and internal marketing materials.
Edit video content that integrates live action, typography, and animation to create dynamic, storytelling‑driven pieces for social, promotions and ads.
Develop templates, lower thirds, and graphics packages for recurring series, highlights, and branded content.
Collaborate with social and marketing teams to brainstorm visual concepts that align with campaign goals and brand tone.
Ensure brand consistency across all motion and video deliverables, maintaining visual standards and storytelling cohesion.
Stay ahead of motion design and social content trends, experimenting with new techniques, transitions, and visual languages.
Work with footage from a variety of sources — including in‑house shoots, broadcast captures, and user‑generated content.
Qualifications
3+ years of professional experience in motion design and video editing.
Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and familiarity with Illustrator and Photoshop.
Strong understanding of composition, typography, timing, and animation principles.
Experience creating content or social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X) with a sense of what performs natively on each.
Demonstrated ability to translate creative briefs into compelling motion visuals.
Knowledge of sound design and visual rhythm to elevate storytelling; a keen eye for detail and a passion for design, storytelling, and innovation.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Ability to operate a computer and use a keyboard, mouse, and video conferencing tools.
Ability to clearly communicate via video, phone, and written channels.
Occasional travel may be required for site visits and events.
Location & Travel Remote (U.S.-based) with occasional travel for site visits and business‑related events.
Benefits Working with the world's best volleyball company isn't enough? Seriously though, we offer a truly competitive compensation package plus choices with medical, dental and vision coverage, as well as flexible spending accounts, life insurance and 401(k). And to top it off: remote work and flexible time off.
Equal Employment Opportunity LOVB is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, protected veteran status, or disability status, are welcome to apply.
