About LOVB (League One Volleyball): League One Volleyball (LOVB ) is reimagining women's sports. Launched in 2019, our company is a mission-led sports performance, training and media enterprise that will change the game of volleyball in the USA and empower new generations of female athletes.
It is a groundbreaking time for volleyball in the US with our historic triple Olympic Gold medals in Women's Indoor, Beach and Sitting Volleyball. Volleyball is already the #1 most played girls' youth sport. There are 38M current and former players today. Of major sports, it's the only one that is women-first (~90% of players are female). But the volleyball market has been almost entirely missed by traditional sports investors, brands, and media.

Job Summary: The Social and Marketing Video Producer/Editor will play a key role in bringing the LOVB story to life across social media, live content, digital campaigns, and marketing initiatives. You’ll collaborate closely with the social media, onsite capture teams, brand, and marketing teams to create engaging, on-brand video content that drives awareness, engagement, and fan growth.
This role is perfect for a creative storyteller and all-around creator who’s fluent in the fast-paced world of social content and understands how to tailor video for different audiences and platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
Produce, edit and deliver video content for social channels, brand campaigns, merch campaigns and digital advertising.
Manage resources and deliver creative content coverage plans for event coverage across weekly matches, tentpole events and marketing priorities.
Work closely with Social, Content and Creative team to set guidelines for all visual content and all onsite capture coverage teams.
Contribute to content ideation across projects including video, live content, advertising technologies, editing strategies, and deliverables.
Create & edit social visual content for the social team on a regular basis based on briefs and through taking initiative based on trends and storylines.
Adapt and optimize footage for each platform, ensuring storytelling aligns with audience behavior and format (e.g., Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts,16:9 promos).
Collaborate with social and marketing teams to brainstorm, plan, and execute video concepts that align with campaign goals and brand voice.
Build and maintain a content library of brand assets, footage, and templates for ongoing use.
Color-correct, sound mix, and add motion graphics or text overlays to enhance storytelling.
Work with internal and external producers, designers, and editors to ensure consistency across all video outputs.
Stay up to date with social video trends, sports storytelling techniques, and emerging formats.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in video editing for digital or social platforms.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop (or equivalent tools).
Strong understanding of social media platforms and content trends.
Ability to edit in both short-form (social-first) and longer-form (branded/storytelling) formats.
Experience working in sports, entertainment, or lifestyle brands preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally and under tight deadlines.
Desired Skills:
Experience in motion graphics design or animation.
Familiarity with sound design and music licensing.
Experience in content capture - shooting live, editing, production.
Experience in other creative content services - photo, videography.
Background in sports content, particularly volleyball or women’s sports.
Comfortable working with footage from multiple sources (broadcast, social, UGC, etc.).
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Ability to operate a computer and use a keyboard, mouse, and video conferencing tools.
Ability to clearly communicate via video, phone, and written channels.
Occasional travel may be required for site visits and events.
Remote with preference in LOVB Pro Cities.
Location: Remote (U.S.-based) with occasional travel for site visits and business-related events
