Manual Tester (Web & Mobile Applications) Job at Vedhait in Germany

We are seeking a skilled Manual Tester to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. As a Manual Tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test cases to identify and resolve defects before product release.

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements
• Execute manual tests on web and mobile applications across various devices and browsers
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools
• Perform regression testing to ensure new features or changes don't impact existing functionality
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and troubleshoot issues
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
• Experience with test case design techniques (e.g., equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis)
• Proficiency in using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium)
• Knowledge of SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies
