Senior Client Services Manager CHARACTERISTICS OF THE POSITION
This key team member is integral to Venture Medical, LLC’s service model by facilitating the onboarding process for new sales representatives and customers, ensuring compliance, and providing ongoing communication and support throughout the sales cycle. The Relationship Manager also contributes significantly to revenue cycle management, including collections and communication with both accounts and Venture Medical, LLC’s sales leadership team. Must be located on the East Coast near a major city. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Become a subject matter expert on Venture Medical, LLC's products, services, and the current billing and documentation requirements for customers. Establish and uphold compliance standards through effective onboarding processes for new customers and sales representatives. Engage key stakeholders in each account, promoting the full range of the company’s product and services offerings and driving customer value. Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within customers that are in good standing. Monitor the status of invoices, tracking overdue accounts, and providing regular status updates to company leadership and relevant stakeholders. Maintain consistent communication (at least monthly) with sales representative principals or designated team members to reinforce the value realized through Venture Medical LLC’s products and services. Monitor the payment status of customers through key touchpoints, ensuring timely claim submissions and invoice payments. Utilize CRM systems and other platforms to track customer interactions and collaborate with the sales team. Other duties as assigned. RELATED DUTIES
Participate in weekly meetings to discuss ongoing customer reimbursement appeals and work to ensure timely resolution. Assist with the collections process by communicating with affected customers and Venture Medical, LLC’s sales leadership team regarding reimbursement issues and developing payment plans. Conduct credit checks for new customers, confirm proper credentialing, validate key contacts, and verify understanding of the insurance verification process. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Training and Experience A minimum of 3 years of experience in account management, customer relations, or a similar role, ideally within the life sciences or healthcare industry. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not always required. Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills
In-depth knowledge of revenue cycle management and collections processes. Familiarity with wound care practices and industry trends. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills. Exceptional ability to train and communicate effectively with a diverse range of audiences, including CEOs, billing departments, and internal teams. Proven ability to build trust and rapport quickly with clients and stakeholders. Capacity to identify opportunities for growth and deliver effective, solutions-driven proposals. Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and continuous value to clients. Proficiency with CRM software and other relevant business tools. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to travel for customer visits and account management. WORKING CONDITIONS
Office environment with a collaborative and dynamic team culture. Regular travel for customer visits and business development activities.
