Overview The Fine Wine & Spirits Brand Ambassador will be responsible for assisting in the development of key trade initiatives (On/Off‑Premise) with full responsibility for the implementation & execution of these strategic plans & trade concepts within their respective account universe; align with the local sales/KAM team and supplier team to ensure optimal execution. They will be responsible for identifying and exploiting key trends & potential trade partners introducing any trade concepts to their Key Accounts. They will also act in an ambassadorial role within the market with a responsibility to represent, champion, educate and train on premium spirits & fine wines to all levels of the trade, internally and to consumers as needed.
Responsibilities
Must be visible at the distributor office and meet with sales representatives, management teams and suppliers, to ensure pursuit of consistent objectives and strategies. Will be expected to be an internal leader for CBI, driving Core Programming with the extended sales team.
Act as Key Point of Contact with KAM Team to develop, execute and recap all marketing programs as they connect to your key account universe.
Meet with key accounts (On/Off) within the assigned territory to develop strong working relationships.
Present brands, work toward achieving increased volumes and assist distributor in attaining objectives that are specifically driven through strategic supplier brands.
Provide weekly market activity report to supervisor to include list of objectives, accomplishments, competitive activities, special projects, etc.
Qualifications
Business Administration/Marketing Degree or equivalent experience.
4+ years’ experience working in the premium wine and spirits industry; working for a beverage supplier/distributor (non‑alc/soft drink/food/beer/alc/wine).
Experience in managing customer relationships aligned with current business goals.
Sound knowledge of the international premium wine and spirit competitive landscape.
Experience in a brand ambassadorial role/marketing execution role will be a plus.
Develop and execute marketing/sales promotional plans.
Account management focusing on the fine wine on/off premise key accounts.
Principles and processes for providing exceptional customer service within the industry and an entrepreneurial drive with proven record of sales success.
Highly organized, attention to detail.
Time‑management skills: ability to execute a planned work week.
Proactive and solution‑oriented mindset.
Ability to influence stakeholders to support business goals.
Compensation and Benefits The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000 to $70,000, depending on qualifications such as experience, education, and skillset. In addition to salary, this role is eligible for a discretionary bonus and offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan with company match, life insurance, long‑term disability, flexible spending account, employee assistance program, pet insurance plan and more.
