Job Description
The Shop Technician role involves performing basic assembly and disassembly operations effectively on a 2nd shift schedule, Monday through Thursday from 4:15pm to 2:45am. You will utilize blueprints, gauges, torque measuring devices, and other equipment to ensure conformance to quality specifications. Additionally, you will use precision measuring devices to assemble and disassemble final products while interpreting blueprints accurately.
Responsibilities
Perform basic assembly and disassembly operations.
Utilize blueprints, gauges, and torque measuring devices to ensure quality specifications are met.
Use precision measuring devices for effective assembly and disassembly of final products.
Interpret blueprints accurately.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
Assist in identifying issues and initiating corrective action processes.
Conduct Safety Stop Audits observations.
Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) and Process Improvement and Development (PID) processes.
Engage in cross-training and support various areas of the shop as required.
Essential Skills
Ability to perform assembly and disassembly tasks.
Proficiency in using hand tools and precision measuring devices.
Experience with drivetrain parts assembly and disassembly.
Ability to interpret blueprints effectively.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience in fields such as Mechanical Assembly/Disassembly, welding, Metal Fabrication, Agricultural or Construction Equipment Assembly, and Mechanics is encouraged.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.97 - $27.82/hr.
