We’re seeking an experienced, driven Enterprise Account Executive to lead growth efforts within our largest market — the Nashville region. This territory represents RJ Young’s highest total addressable market, with deep existing customer relationships and significant opportunity for expansion across our technology portfolio.
What You’ll Do
Business Development and Pipeline Generation:
Identify, research, and pursue new enterprise and upper‑mid‑market opportunities across the region. Conduct strategic outbound prospecting, discovery calls, and partner collaboration to build qualified pipeline for cybersecurity, SaaS, and physical‑security solutions. Maintain consistent pipeline coverage aligned to revenue and profitability goals.
Account Management and Customer Engagement:
Own and expand relationships within assigned accounts to drive long‑term technology adoption and recurring revenue. Conduct quarterly business reviews, coordinate with internal engineering and service teams, and leverage existing RJ Young customers for vendor consolidation and modernization initiatives.
Partner and Channel Collaboration:
Work in close alignment with strategic vendor partners (e.g., managed detection and response, behavioral‑based email security, financial automation, and access control). Develop joint go‑to‑market plans, coordinate events and campaigns, and ensure tight alignment between RJ Young and partner field teams.
Opportunity Management and Sales Execution:
Manage the full sales cycle from qualification through close using MEDDPICC methodology. Lead customer demos with engineering support, negotiate pricing and terms, and ensure profitability targets are achieved. Maintain accurate forecasts and CRM hygiene.
Team Collaboration and Reporting:
Collaborate closely with peers, SDRs, and traditional RJ Young reps to drive co‑selling opportunities. Participate in weekly team meetings, coaching sessions, and enablement programs. Contribute to internal process improvements and cross‑functional initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
Experience:
Seeking candidates with 5+ years of full‑cycle B2B sales experience, preferably in technology, cybersecurity, SaaS, or managed services. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding annual revenue targets and success selling directly to the office of the CTO and/or CFO.
Sales Discipline:
Formal sales methodology experience (MEDDPICC or equivalent) and strong pipeline management capabilities.
Relationship Builder:
Skilled at navigating complex organizations and developing trust with executive‑level decision makers across both technical and financial leadership.
Strategic and Self‑Directed:
Able to independently manage a territory, balance multiple priorities, and drive measurable results.
Tech‑Savvy Communicator:
Familiarity with modern IT, security, and operational technologies; excellent communication and presentation skills.
