Will teach VMB 976 101, Radiology Rotation: Radiology; VMB 976 201, Radiology Rotation: Ultrasound; VMB 936 001, Introduction to Radiology; VMB 960 001, Veterinary Radiology and Radiobiology. Will participate in the veterinary and graduate teaching programs, provide clinical radiology services in the NC State Veterinary Hospital, contribute to the knowledge base through collaborative research with other clinical specialists or basic scientists, and provide diagnostic imaging consultations to referring veterinarians and others. Other Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience: Requires a DVM degree or equivalent. Must have completed a 3-year American College of Veterinary Radiology or European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging approved residency in diagnostic imaging. Must have demonstrated coursework or experience with advanced imaging techniques, including radiography, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and scintigraphy, for diagnosis of complex veterinary diseases in small and large animals; including dogs, cats, horses, and dairy animals. Experience with cardiac MRI sequences for evaluating cardiac disorders; veterinary research methodology (study design, data collection, statistical analysis, manuscript preparation) leading to publications in peer-reviewed journals. Expertise in designing and implementing retrospective and prospective research focused on diagnostic imaging and disease evaluation; mentoring and training veterinary students and residents in diagnostic imaging; didactic teaching of diagnostic imaging with focus on radiography and ultrasound; delivering structured lectures and hands-on training to students.
