Bilingual Recruiting Specialist , you’ll play a key role in shaping our growing team of educators and leaders across the Houston area.
About the Role
This hybrid position offers the best of both worlds — the flexibility to work remotely while staying closely connected to our schools through regular visits across the Houston area (with occasional travel to Austin).
It’s an ideal opportunity for current Center Directors or early childhood leaders who are ready to grow beyond the day-to-day school operations while continuing to make a meaningful impact in the field.
As the Recruiting Specialist, you’ll play a key role in attracting and welcoming exceptional educators, fostering strong relationships, and helping build the talented teams that power our schools’ success.
What You’ll Do
Partner with school leaders to understand hiring needs and attract exceptional early childhood professionals.
Manage the full recruitment cycle — from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding new team members.
Build relationships in the community and create a strong pipeline of passionate early childhood educators.
Represent Kido with professionalism, warmth, and enthusiasm at hiring events, career fairs, and networking opportunities.
Support the onboarding and orientation experience for new hires to ensure a smooth transition.
Collaborate closely with the People and Operations teams to align hiring with organizational goals.
What We’re Looking For
Background in Early Childhood Education — ideally someone who has served as a Center Director, Assistant Director, or similar leadership role.
Proven experience recruiting, hiring, and developing high-performing teams in a childcare or school setting.
Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
A natural communicator who loves connecting with others and promoting a mission-driven organization.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities with a smile.
Passionate about helping others find meaningful work in early childhood education!
Essential Functions
Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and respond quickly in emergency situations.
Ability to travel regularly to campuses in Houston and occasionally to Austin.
Must pass an enhanced fingerprint-based background check.
