Overview

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP seeks to hire a highly qualified midlevel associate with law firm experience to join our corporate and business transactions - real estate practice group. The candidate may be resident in Boston, New York, or Philadelphia and must be an active member of the bar in the state of the Morgan Lewis office for which they are applying.

Responsibilities

  • Three to five years of law firm experience in acquisitions, dispositions, financing, joint ventures and leasing of commercial, mixed-use, data center and industrial properties; familiarity with a full deal cycle for a real estate transaction.
  • Strong working knowledge of title and survey review; ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Collaborate with attorneys across offices and practice areas (including M&A, energy and finance) on sophisticated transactions with Fortune 100 companies, REITs, developers and financial institutions.

Qualifications

  • Excellent academic credentials; strong organizational, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Licensed to practice law in the relevant state (Massachusetts, New York, or Pennsylvania per office).

Compensation and Benefits

Salary ranges: For MA and NY postings, $260,000 to $365,000. Final salary will be determined during the interview process and may be outside this range based on experience, expertise, business needs, and market factors. The total compensation package may include medical, financial, and other benefits (including 401(k) and paid time off). Employee will be in an at-will position and the firm reserves the right to modify compensation or benefits.
