JOB TITLE:
College of Arts & Sciences Recruiting Coordinator
JOB PURPOSE:
Coordinate and manage the operational, financial, and personnel functions of the College of Arts & Sciences undergraduate recruitment program under very limited supervision; represent the college at advising events, advise and counsel students and parents; facilitate and pursue opportunities which will enhance college undergraduate recruitment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and manage the administrative, financial, and personnel activities of the College of Arts & Sciences undergraduate recruitment efforts.
- Develop, coordinate and administer student recruitment programs.
- Coordinate recruitment opportunities with Directors and Assistant Deans.
- Implement undergraduate recruitment goals and objectives and revise as necessary; develop and enact a comprehensive plan for delivery and assessment of objectives and goals.
- Represent the College and its departments at recruiting events, both on campus and in the community, which may require periodic overnight travel.
- Coordinate college recruitment with other university departments to ensure smooth delivery of services.
- Provide guidance and assistance with the college's recruitment plan for faculty, staff and students.
- Oversee undergraduate recruitment efforts and reduce duplication of efforts.
- Hire, train and supervise part-time support staff/student workers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: 3 years work-related experience
Required licensure, certification, registration or other requirements: Valid driver\'s license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) that is compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor\'s degree in higher education administration, student affairs, English, communication, journalism, or a related field
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- 3 years progressive experience in student recruitment, student success admissions, or other student facing roles
- Experience with leadership and oversight of complex projects (i.e. event planning and scheduling)
- Experience with developing student recruitment plans and analyzing student enrollment data
