Overview HR Business Partner (Must have recruiting experience) – Ferguson Construction, Columbus, Ohio. This on-site position requires prior recruiting experience and reports to the HR & HRIS Manager. The role focuses on recruiting for construction trades and administrative office positions, along with regional responsibilities in onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, and HRIS administration. Responsibilities Own recruiting for the Columbus region, including construction trades and administrative positions Passive candidate recruitment on LinkedIn; post jobs and manage interviewing, offers, onboarding, and orientation Daily interaction with employees in the office and on active job sites; support leaders and employees across HR functions Support corrective actions, onboarding, offboarding, service awards administration, and training Coordinate performance evaluations company-wide with regional HR support HRIS administration for onboarding and offboarding; manage metrics and reporting Campus recruiting: maintain relationships with schools, schedule events, coordinate Co-op and Apprentice hiring Update recruiting materials and campaigns with Marketing; manage ads and ATS/workflows Ensure compliance with state-funded training reimbursements and related initiatives Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Psychology or related field Minimum 2 years of experience as a recruiter or HR Generalist performing recruiting Ability to work on-site in the Columbus office, 5 days a week Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; collaborative team player Job Details Location: Columbus, Ohio (on-site) Employment type: Full-time Job function: Human Resources Industries: Construction Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Ferguson Construction.
