Position Responsibilities

• Operate a Forklift machine (sit down & stand up)
• Pick orders
• Use RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory
• Manage pick ticket orders
• Pull warehouse items from the shelves based on number, size, quantity, etc.
• Ensure that orders are accurate
• Stage items correctly for delivery
• Read incoming order requests
• Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
• Pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped
• Inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Identify safety hazards in the workplace
• Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods
• Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years’ experience operating powered forklifts
• Knowledge of various material-handling equipment is an asset
• Proficient in math
• Detail oriented
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations
• Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace
• Able to lift 50 pounds with/without accommodations
• High school diploma or GED is required
• Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and comply with all safety policies and requirements

The pay for this role in the state of NJ is $20.61/hr and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location.
