REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:6+ years in data analysis

2+ years supporting SAP migration projects preferred

6+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in finance or enterprise data systems

2+ years working on SAP.

Proficient in SQL and familiar with data validation and reconciliation techniques

Functional knowledge of SAP finance modules (GL, AP/AR, FA, CO)

Experience with data mapping, data dictionaries, and transformation logic documentation

Hands-on experience writing and executing test plans including functional integration testing

Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to work onsite with business stakeholders

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or SAP Analytics Cloud

Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with Finance Accounting Transformation and Finance data migration.

Experience supporting financial reconciliation, audit readiness, or compliance-driven data initiatives

Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure)

Comfortable working in hybrid project delivery environments with Agile or waterfall elements

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Senior Data Analyst to support a complex SAP R/3 to S/4HANA finance migration. This individual will play a key role in Enterprise Data Warehouse and Operational warehouse ensuring the Finance Data Mart and warehouse is accurate and business alignment through detailed EDW mapping, validation, and testing efforts across financial domains in EDW.

This is a hybrid/in-person role, requiring regular on-site collaboration with business partners, data engineering teams, BI developers, and SAP stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in data analysis, finance, testing, and enterprise systems with a hands-on mindset.

Key Responsibilities:Lead the creation and maintenance of EDW data mapping documentation between EDW and Finance system (SAP).

Collaborate with business and functional leads to gather and clarify financial data transformation and reporting requirements

Support data profiling, cleansing, transformation, and validation activities

Assist in writing and executing test strategies, including:Unit testing

Functional integration testing

User acceptance testing (UAT)

Work closely with the BI reporting team to validate data structures and support post-migration reporting needs

Partner with data engineers and solution architects to define and verify transformation rules

Log and track issues and support resolution during test cycles; maintain appropriate testing and validation documentation

Contribute to SteerCo reporting, providing data readiness updates, issue status, and impact summaries

Work with Project Mangers to maintain and support the RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)

Collaborate with offshore and onshore teams to align on requirements, deliverables, and timelines
