Position Summary
We are seeking a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine with an emphasis on shoulder arthroplasty to join a physician-led orthopedic group in Scottsdale, AZ. This surgical position offers a high-volume, focused practice supported by skilled physician assistants, in-house imaging, and a dedicated surgical team. Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $250,000 $350,000 annually, commensurate with experience
- Bonus: Collections-based incentive program

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat shoulder conditions, including sports injuries, trauma, and degenerative diseases
- Perform shoulder arthroscopy and total shoulder arthroplasty (anatomic and reverse)
- Manage preoperative and postoperative care to ensure seamless patient recovery
- Collaborate closely with onsite physical therapy to optimize rehabilitation
- Optionally provide sports knee care depending on interest and referrals
- Conduct in-office procedures such as ultrasound-guided injections
- Maintain thorough documentation within the electronic health record (EHR)
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Candidate Requirements
- Fellowship training in Sports Medicine or Shoulder & Elbow Surgery
- Board Certified or Board Eligible with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS)
- Eligible for medical licensure in Arizona (MD or DO)
- Skilled in shoulder reconstruction and joint replacement procedures
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
