Job Description TMB, Inc is seeking candidates for a

Sr. Naval Architect

to support NAVSEA Acquisition Program Office Engineering Support Services requirements. This position is contingent upon the award of the PMS 406 contract. Responsibilities Provide analysis on ship hulls and superstructures. Study design products and specifications to establish basic characteristics of a ship, such as size, weight, and speed. Lead teams from a variety of specialties to oversee building and testing prototypes. Evaluate how ships perform during trials, both at dock and at sea, and modify designs as needed to meet standards. Qualifications At least 15 years of professional experience in Naval Architecture. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. Experience with DoD/DoN procedures and policies (DoD 5000 process). Professional Engineer License is a plus. Must be a United States citizen. Must possess an active DoD Top Secret security clearance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Ability to perform frequent internal and external customer interface, including scheduled and ad hoc meetings. Ability to travel reasonable distances (up to ½ mile one way) for meetings. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds to transport equipment and documents.
