- Dates/Coverage Needed: Beginning January 2026 for 3-6 months with option to extend. Schedule is 8's or 10's between Monday and Friday + weeknight call (7 pm - 7 am) and 24-hour weekend call (7 am - 7 am) once or twice a week.
- Support Staff/Supervision: Can do some of their own cases, but there is supervision at a 1:3 ratio
- # of ORs: 7
- Patient Demographic: Adult patient population - low volume of pediatric cases.
- Case Mix: General Surgery, Endo, Vascular, OB, Ortho, Bariatric Surgery, Uro, Gyn. No hearts or heads, very limited peds. OB cannot be excluded/is required. Spinal epidurals are required. There are 100 deliveries per month, but the epidural rate is low (large midwifery program), C-Section rate is 15%.
- Credentialing Time-Frame: 60 days
- Active NY license: Required to present
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Travel/Lodging/Rental or Mileage: Yes
- Salary Range: $200 to $250 per hour
