Five Rivers Analytics is seeking a System Administrator in Colorado Springs, CO. The role involves administering, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining operating systems and related software. The candidate will establish standards for computer operations, troubleshoot issues, perform backups and data recoveries, and recommend hardware and software upgrades. The position requires providing technical support and working under minimal supervision, potentially acting as a lead. Typically requires a BA and 5-7 years of experience. Responsibilities Maintain and configure computer networks, including VPNs, routers, switches, and firewalls; monitor system performance. Coordinate with teams and customers to ensure successful operations and connectivity. Develop and troubleshoot VMware solutions; install OS, patches, and security updates; keep informed of VMware developments. Manage Windows Server and Active Directory; implement highly-available infrastructure; troubleshoot OS, network, and application issues. Manage client/server architecture; analyze requirements; ensure system performance; work with relational databases. Monitor system activity; test security software; assist in policy implementation. Support Cisco ISE deployment; develop procedures and train personnel. Perform system and database administration, account management, troubleshooting, and document upkeep. Interface with network administrators and support teams; maintain good communication skills; work harmoniously in team environments. Qualifications BS/BA degree and 5 years' experience or High School diploma/GED with 6-10 years of experience. U.S. Citizenship and active Secret clearance, with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance. DoDM 8140.03 Intermediate Level certification or ability to obtain within 3 months. Experience with telecommunications networks, SQL databases, Windows Server, and Active Directory. Good communication skills and ability to work in team environments. Desired Qualifications: Certifications in Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking/firewall. Experience with ESS (HBSS), SolarWinds, SCN, DISA policies, and service desk functions. Expertise in system operation standards, troubleshooting, backups, and data recovery. Experience with VMware, OSR systems, WANIFs, NetApp, EMS, LogRhythm, and encryption devices.
