Five Rivers Analytics is seeking a System Administrator in Colorado Springs, CO. The role involves administering, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining operating systems and related software. The candidate will establish standards for computer operations, troubleshoot issues, manage backups and data recovery, and recommend hardware and software upgrades. Responsibilities
Maintain computer networks, including VPNs, routers, switches, and other hardware; install and configure network equipment; monitor system performance. Coordinate with STORMS Team and customers for successful operations and connectivity verification. Develop and troubleshoot VMware solutions; install OS, patches, and security updates; maintain VMware documentation. VCP certification preferred. Manage Windows Server and Active Directory; implement high-availability infrastructure; troubleshoot system and network issues; support project planning and execution. Manage client/server architecture; ensure system performance; work with relational databases. Monitor system activity; test Endpoint Security Software; assist with policy implementation and system operation. Support Cisco ISE deployment and management. Develop procedures, train personnel, and implement configuration changes. Manage accounts, systems, databases, and perform troubleshooting and documentation. Coordinate with network administrators and service desk teams. Maintain good communication skills and work harmoniously in team environments with government clients and contractors.
Qualifications
BS/BA degree with 5 years' experience, or High School diploma with 6-10 years of experience. U.S. Citizenship and active Secret clearance, with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance. Certification in DoDM 8140.03 or ability to obtain within 3 months. Experience with trunk/circuit testing, telecommunications networks, and circuits. Knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Windows Server, and Active Directory. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Desired Qualifications: Certifications in Windows Server 2016/2019, Active Directory, ESS (HBSS), networking, and firewalls. Experience with SolarWinds, SCN, DISA policies, Service Desk functions, and system standards implementation.
