JOB DESCRIPTION The Program Management Office (PMO) supports some of the company's most complex, cross-functional decisions and programs. When needed, members of the PMO will roll up their sleeves and work hand in hand with engineering and operations to solve issues that arise.

The PMO Documentation Lead & Technical Writer is responsible for maintaining and evolving critical process documentation and governance frameworks that support development lifecycle, decision-making processes, and program management methodologies. This role ensures documentation clarity, consistency, and accessibility across the PMO organization while supporting cross-functional alignment.

Responsibilities

Maintain and evolve core process frameworks and methodologies, including the Development Life Cycle (ZDLC) documentation Drive standardization of program management documentation across different domains, with particular focus on: Decision-making processes (e.g., MCR documentation) Timeline and scope documentation Release planning and execution documentation Establish and maintain documentation standards for critical program management artifacts Perform regular audits and updates of PMO documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance Create and maintain templates that drive consistency in program documentation across teams Partner with program managers to identify documentation needs and implement improvements Lead documentation review processes and ensure alignment with established standards Manage the PMO's Confluence space, ensuring proper organization and maintenance of pages Develop and implement documentation governance processes Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, preferably in English, Communications, or technology-related field Technical writing experience in a technology or engineering environment 6-8 years of experience developing and maintaining process documentation Experience with documentation tools, particularly Confluence and Google Workspace Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment through documentation Experience in process mapping and documentation of complex workflows Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and program management methodologies Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Bonus Qualifications

Experience working in automotive or autonomous vehicle industry Knowledge of agile development practices and documentation Experience with process improvement and governance frameworks Background in program or project management Experience working with engineering teams in a technical environment

Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate or annual salary only, unless otherwise stated.
