Description
SAIC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team supporting the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contract. The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the smooth functioning of all enterprise-level IT operations, ensuring reliable and secure delivery of IT services that are vital to FEMA's mission-critical operations and emergency response efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
IT Enterprise Operations:
Oversee all aspects of enterprise-level IT operations including virtualized infrastructure, Network Operations Center (NOC), and Security Operations Center (SOC). Technical Project Management:
Manage and execute complex technical projects related to IT infrastructure migration and cloud solutions. Network Design and Implementation:
Design, implement, and manage operational processes and procedures to ensure reliable delivery of IT services, including networks, servers, databases, and critical IT components. Compliance and Security:
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security protocols. Implement best practices for cybersecurity and disaster recovery. Stakeholder Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to align operational activities with FEMA's strategic objectives. Continuous Improvement:
Contribute insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. Qualifications: Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Certifications:
Must have the following certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Architect Professional (CCNA) Professional Cloud Solutions Architect Certifications Certification in Multi-Cloud (AWS, GCP, OCI, Azure) Experience:
Extensive experience managing IT enterprise operations, including NOC, SOC, and complex IT infrastructure projects. Clearance:
Must obtain a Public Trust clearance prior to starting work under this contract. Skills: Network Engineering:
Proven experience in network design, implementation, and management. Technical Expertise:
Hands-on experience with virtualized infrastructure, cloud solutions, and multi-cloud environments. Project Management:
Strong ability to oversee and execute complex technical projects. Compliance and Security:
Expertise in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and implementing cybersecurity protocols. Collaboration:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Problem-Solving:
