Spencer Thomas Group (STG) is currently looking to add to our team of consultants under our Global Payroll Practice .
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Global Payroll Manager Consultant to serve as interim cover during a maternity leave. This contract role is critical to ensuring the continuity, accuracy, and compliance of our global payroll operations across multiple regions.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, hands-on experience with international payroll processes, and the ability to seamlessly collaborate with internal teams and external vendors. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a global role and contribute to a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Responsibilities:
Review US, Canada and EMEA (UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Poland) Payrolls
Manage projects in EMEA/APAC
Coordinate deadlines with commissions team, approvals from FP&A/CFO, share files with APAC/EMEA teams
Enter Commissions for EOR
Perform month-end tasks for US, Germany, UK, Australia, Velocity Journal entries, prepare commission payout files, share reports as needed
Handle tax notices, open tickets on Dayforce, follow up, register new states, ensure tax compliance
Oversee US Year-End benefits and tax audits, review draft W2s
Review T4s for Canada Year-End
Coordinate EMEA year-end activities with ICPs and TMF teams
Develop payroll calendars for 2026
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Dayforce, 10+ years managing global payroll operations Duration:
Project-based consulting role starting mid-August through March 2026, with potential extension. Level of Effort:
Full-time (approx. 40 hrs/week) until December 2025, part-time (20-25 hrs/week) from January to March 2026. Working Hours:
MTN Location:
Candidates preferred in Denver, CO area. Onsite 2 days/week. Senior Level
