Senior Systems Administrato r to support mission-critical operations in
Springfield, VA . This is a full-time
on-site
role requiring an active
TS/SCI clearance . Candidates must be flexible to support shifts between
5AM-9PM
EST and participate in
on-call rotations .
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud-based system administration and experience supporting secure, scalable, and compliant infrastructure within Federal environments.
Responsibilities for the Senior Systems Administrator include: • Support cloud system implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance across AWS C2S environments • Resolve issues across applications, operating systems, hardware, and network infrastructure • Interface with Amazon/C2S, NGA-ESC, and internal stakeholders for problem escalation and resolution • Install and configure operating systems and application software • Monitor system health using tools such as Kibana and AWS CloudWatch
Required Qualifications for the Senior Systems Administrator include: • 5+ years of experience with Linux or windows systems administration • Experience with AWS services: EC2, S3, IAM, CloudFormation (YAML/JSON), SNS, CloudWatch • Scripting experience in Python • Familiarity with DevOps tools: Elasticsearch, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines • Experience with collaboration platforms: ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence • Bachelor's degree or years of experience in lieu of a degree • Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI poly
Compensation for the Senior Systems Administrator includes: • Salary Range: $120,000-$150,000 depending on experience • Benefits: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Sick Leave (as required by law)
