Position Overview

The Accounting Clerk is an entry-level position with opportunities for advancement within the company. This role is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and accounting support tasks to ensure efficient daily office operations and accurate financial record-keeping. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order and maintain inventory of office supplies.
  • Greet and direct visitors entering the office.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Process check disbursements and assist with waiver signing.
  • Perform data entry for Accounts Payable and related functions.
  • Scan and upload invoice documentation into Mark Systems.
  • Process weekly payroll for field employees.
  • Serve as a liaison between the company and vendors.
  • Audit and process company credit card bills.
  • Manage and pay utility bills for construction properties.
  • Maintain a clean and organized office environment.
  • Prepare and file sales tax rebate documentation.
  • Review and print medical insurance invoices.
  • Send out EFT remittances and lien waivers as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or Associate’s degree (2-year) required.
  • Experience: Entry-level; prior accounting or administrative experience preferred.
