Position Overview

The Accounting Clerk is an

entry-level position

with opportunities for advancement within the company. This role is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and accounting support tasks to ensure efficient daily office operations and accurate financial record-keeping. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn. Key Responsibilities

Order and maintain inventory of office supplies. Greet and direct visitors entering the office. Handle incoming and outgoing mail. Process check disbursements and assist with waiver signing. Perform data entry for Accounts Payable and related functions. Scan and upload invoice documentation into

Mark Systems . Process weekly payroll for field employees. Serve as a liaison between the company and vendors. Audit and process company credit card bills. Manage and pay utility bills for construction properties. Maintain a clean and organized office environment. Prepare and file sales tax rebate documentation. Review and print medical insurance invoices. Send out EFT remittances and lien waivers as required. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or Associate’s degree (2-year) required. Experience:

Entry-level; prior accounting or administrative experience preferred. Skills & Attributes: Strong organizational and time-management skills. Detail-oriented, accurate, and dependable. Trainable and eager to learn. Professional demeanor and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. This position operates in a professional office setting and may involve occasional interaction with vendors, contractors, and field staff.
