What You’ll Do

• Manage all billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions.
• Process payroll accurately and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and share insights with ownership.
• Perform financial analysis to support decision-making and long-term strategy.
• Monitor daily cash flow and forecast short- and long-term liquidity needs.
• Oversee inventory tracking, fixed asset records, and depreciation schedules.
• Administer the company’s 401(k) plan and employee benefits programs.
• Manage and renew business, auto, and liability insurance policies.
• Partner with ownership on budgeting, forecasting, and evaluating business performance.
• Support operational improvements and growth initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience (transportation industry preferred).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
