Overview

We are a fast-growing, private equity backed aggregator of vending machine and micro market companies. With multiple operating entities and an active M&A pipeline, we are building a dynamic, scalable accounting function to support rapid growth. We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team and grow with the business.

Responsibilities

  • Own daily accounting operations, including cash postings, AP/AR oversight, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Perform month-end close activities: journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, intercompany eliminations, and variance analyses with emphasis on inventory/cost of goods sold and account reconciliations.
  • Support integration of newly acquired entities, including onboarding into accounting systems and alignment with company policies, and ensure accurate cash-to-GAAP conversion.
  • Direct and oversee the lease process, ensuring that all leases are entered into the accounting system in a timely and accurate manner, and thoroughly reviewing all lease reports and reconciliations.
  • Monitor inventory accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Partner with the Controller to strengthen internal controls, streamline processes, and implement scalable accounting practices to support business initiatives.
  • Contribute to special projects and ad hoc analysis as the company grows.
  • Experience with cash-to-GAAP conversion preferred.
  • Exposure to purchase accounting and M&A integration preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with QuickBooks and NetSuite or Sage a plus.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 4–6+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a multi-entity or consolidations environment.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and month-end close processes.

Locations

  • Hybrid working model, up to 3 days per week in the office.
  • Travel willingness.
