Accounting Clerk Job at PEG Staffing & Recruiting in St. Louis

Overview

We’re hiring a motivated, detail-oriented Accounting Clerk who’s also comfortable handling front-desk duties. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who enjoys both numbers and people. You’ll gain hands-on experience in accounting and finance while also serving as the first point of contact for visitors. What You’ll Do

• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Assist with general ledger entries and reconciliations
• Assist with bi-monthly payroll and support monthly and year-end closing
• Greet visitors and direct them appropriately and answer and route phone calls professionally

What We’re Looking For

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field
• 2+ years of experience in AP/AR
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
