RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for a full-time Accounting Assistant. This position will be 40 hrs/week, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, with a half hour lunch break.

Requirements

Minimum high school graduate or equivalent, with 3+ years of accounting-related experience required. Experience with Accounts Payable a plus. Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and 10-key calculator. Solid organizational skills a must.

Summary

This position is responsible for supporting Accounting Department functions with daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines.

Responsibilities include

• posting of daily cash receipts and daily deposit
• processing monthly employee travel/expense requests
• preparing and maintaining reports for representative payee clients
• coordinating HUD functions
• other duties as assigned
