Overview \ RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for a full-time Healthcare Billing Specialist. The schedule will be weekdays, 8am-4:30pm. \ The right candidate will join a close-knit billing team following timely, accurate, HIPAA-compliant billing practices that complement the accounting side of the financial services department. Exercises discretion and good judgment in communicating account information to third parties. \ Able to work regularly scheduled weekday business hours. \ \ Job Duties \ \ Medical billing and related activities in a behavioral healthcare environment. \ Working directly with clients and/or third-party payors to ensure that medical billing is accurate, compliant with payors\' guidelines, thorough, and timely. \ Performs collections efforts to ensure accounts receivable balances are managed in accordance with target balances. \ Excellent communication skills.
