We are looking for a talented Infrastructure Software Engineer to build and scale the core infrastructure powering a medical AI platform used by healthcare providers.We are a healthcare technology company building an AI-native clinical platform that provides medical evidence-grounded answers to clinical questions for doctors. This role is hybrid onsite in Miami, FL. Job Duties: Design, implement, and operate new backend services and APIs. Develop and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines. Maintain and optimize key backend resources like databases, caches, and load balancers. Own and operate key backend production services. Institute technological and operational processes to improve site reliability. Contribute to ongoing company product discussions. Coordinate with software engineers, ML engineers, and product designers to determine and execute platform requirements. On-call escalation (about one week per month, daylight only). Ideal Background: High proficiency building and operating backend services at scale and architecting cloud-native backend services High proficiency with Terraform or similar IaC/infrastructure tooling Moderate proficiency with DevOps tooling such as Docker and Python/Javascript packaging Moderate proficiency with Python and Google Cloud Experience with Django, Django REST Framework, Postgres is a plus Experience with MLOps and LLMOps is a plus Proven track record of building and scaling production systems. Experience architecting and scaling infrastructure ecosystems, from service reliability to data platforms. Experience handling sensitive medical data at scale.
